The Orange Committee

This is a great place to give more details about me, as the Webmaster. I could give personal information about my family, my job, my education, and my hobbies and interests. I could also include a list of any of my favorite things.

the history behind this site & philosophy of this site

This site began as a effort to assist the financing of a few vietnam Veterans' college educations. They had qualified for federal student loans, yet that only covered a portion of the expences. these veterans were rehabilitated disabled at 100% service connection. And not a single one had a GPA less then 3.29. Yet all had been refused assistance through the Voc- Rehab program. This attitude is less then what I would have expected from a department of the Veterans Administration. I am a Vietnam war Veteran myself and I was so frustrated having heard this situation that I began this web site.

I felt that this web site could be non profit but not tax exempt and still accomplish its' goals. It is my belief that any one who is really interested in aiding a veteran would at least send in the least amount they are able to send. I did not want to file for tax exemption because then the federal government wants all kinds of donor lists and they demand the right to tell you how to spend the money. As in which degree programs they say you can support.

I also felt that perhaps persons other then this webmaster may have a interest in earning a commission for bringing supporters to this web site.So a affiliate program is being organized. This web master feels that a 10% commission is responsible
